STUDENTS


  1. The Library opens from 8:00 am to 10: 00 pm Monday to Friday and 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday.

  2. You must sign the borrowing form when borrowing and returning a book.

  3. You must leave your identity card with the officer at the issue desk, even if you are going to use the book with in the Library.

  4. Books borrowed from the Library should be returned with in the prescribed loan period as may stated by the library officer due to demand of that very information material it may be. But the loan period may range between 1-7 days. A fine of 500/= per extra day is payable on overdue books.

  5. RESERVED BOOKS are to be used within the Library, taking them from the library without authority from the library officer is not allowed and is punishable with a fine of 1000 per day as a penalty

  6. Students of the university may borrow up to 2 (two) books at a time for a period of one week.

  7. All students who are not returning to the University must have clearance forms signed by the Library Officer(s).

  8. Bags must be left with the security guard at the entrance.

  9. Smoking and consumption of food and drinks are strictly forbidden in the Library.

  10. Mobile telephone owners must put their phones in vibration or switch them off before entering the Library.

  11. Maximum silence should be observed in the Library.

  12. Stealing or removing papers from books is strictly forbidden.

  13. Anybody caught involving himself/herself in this malpractice shall be expelled from the University.

  14. A warning bell will be rang fifteen minutes before closing time and all readers must vacate the Library by closing time.

Note: Failure to observe the above rules and regulations will lead to disciplinary action against the culprit.
